Community Compass is a non-profit community development corporation dedicated to giving people a hand up, not a handout. We exist to help people get on their feet, then guide them so they sustain their success. Our purpose is to help people go from lack to abundance, from weakness to strength, from dependence to independence. Our ultimate goal is to see people prosper and be in a position to give back to their community.
Housing Initiatives
HousingCommunity Compass, Inc has established an affordable housing program for individuals that have difficulty finding housing within their economic means. We support democratically operated houses, whereby House Residents work together to manage all aspects of operating of a home. Our program provides the House Residents with a safe, supportive environment during a time when they are transitioning in their lives.

We Help Individuals Transitioning: At Community Compass, we encourage personal growth and wholeness by supporting the development of positive behavioral characteristics of our House Residents Spiritually, Emotionally, Financially & Socially. Each resident is encouraged to develop his/her own goals, both practical and spiritual, and continuously strive to work towards achieving these goals while in the program.
