Community Compass is a non-profit community development corporation dedicated to giving people a hand up, not a handout. We exist to help people get on their feet, then guide them so they sustain their success. Our purpose is to help people go from lack to abundance, from weakness to strength, from dependence to independence. Our ultimate goal is to see people prosper and be in a position to give back to their community.

Ultimately, our goal is to see individuals gain their sense of purpose and destiny. It's not enough to simply feed, clothe, and shelter.. everyone needs to know deep inside that their lives matter -- to others and to God. We believe that once individuals get hold of this concept, the possibilities are endless! Whether it be finishing an education or getting a job, we all need to have certain victory in some area, which will give us the confidence to persevere. By meeting basic needs, we believe we can remove the distractions of daily living that cause some to remain in a state of survival mentality.
