Food Pantry
We start with one of the very basic needs of all human beings-- to eat! This is after our first touch with the needy person in the community, which eventually opens the door to offering more opportunities to that family in order to permanently change their circumstances. We offer a loving, caring environment when they can come to pick up their food. We maintain a consistent, routing schedule; they know they can count on us to be there.
We’ve been in existence for over 15 years and feed at least 300 people per month (up to 600 in the winter months). Our 50+ committed colunteers give of their own time to see that the needs of their neighbors are met. They seek to be attentive to each person who comes through the door, offering a caring touch, kind words-- and food!
